The theft is believed to have occurred on June 11, 2026, sometime between 2 and 4 a.m. at the wharf on King Street in St. Andrews. An individual arrived at the wharf on foot and stole a boat motor, gas tanks, paddles, and two dinghy boats.
Police are now releasing surveillance footage photos of the individual in hopes that, despite the quality, someone may recognize them. The individual is described as a man with a medium build who was wearing a green or brown jacket with a black hooded sweater underneath, black pants, a ball cap, gloves, and black shoes at the time of the theft.
Anyone who recognizes the individual in the photos, or who may have information that could help further the investigation, is asked to contact the St. Andrews RCMP at 506-755-1130. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1 (800)-222-8477, by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.
